Welcome to Abridged Opera LLC("we," "our," "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, programs, services, and events. We offer a variety of performing arts services, including but not limited to:

  • Workshops and Classes: Acting, dance, voice, and other creative arts classes.

  • Public Performances: Recitals, theater productions, and special events.

  • Private Coaching and Consulting: One-on-one coaching for performers and artists.

  • Community Programs: Outreach programs and services aimed at enhancing community engagement through the arts.

3. Registration and Payment

  • Registration: All participants must register in advance for workshops, classes, and performances. Registration is considered confirmed once payment is received in full.

  • Payment: All payments for workshops, classes, performances, and other services must be made through our approved payment methods, including credit card, venmo, cashapp, zelle, cash, moneyorder, etc.

  • Pricing: Prices for services are listed on our website and are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Prices for specific events or programs may vary.

  • Refunds and Cancellations:

    • Workshops/Classes: Payment is non-refundable once a class or workshop is booked. If you need to cancel, you must do so at least [insert number 48 hours before the event for any chance of a refund or credit. No refunds will be issued for missed classes.

    • Performances: Tickets for performances are non-refundable. If a performance is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather or health reasons), we will offer a rescheduled date or a refund, depending on the situation.

4. Code of Conduct

We aim to provide a respectful and welcoming environment for all participants, staff, and guests. By using our services, you agree to:

  • Respect: Treat all individuals with kindness and respect, including fellow participants, staff, and the community.

  • Professionalism: Arrive on time for classes, workshops, and performances, and engage actively in all activities.

  • Harassment-Free Environment: Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Individuals engaging in such behavior may be asked to leave the premises and may be excluded from future events or programs.

5. Health and Safety

  • Physical Activity: Some of our programs involve physical activity, such as acting exercises, dance, or movement. By participating, you acknowledge that you are physically capable of engaging in these activities and that you assume all risks related to participation.

  • Health Concerns: If you have any health conditions or concerns that could affect your participation, please inform the instructor or company staff in advance. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations when necessary.

  • Safety Guidelines: We comply with local health and safety regulations. Any safety measures, such as COVID-19 protocols, will be communicated to participants in advance and must be adhered to.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Content Ownership: All content provided by Abridged Opera LLC, including but not limited to class materials, artwork, music, performance scripts, videos, and website content, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

  • Usage Rights: You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any materials from our programs or website without written consent from Abridged Opera LLC.

  • Media Releases: By participating in our programs, you consent to the use of your image, voice, or performance in promotional materials, including photos, videos, and other media. If you do not wish to be featured, please inform us before participating.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • General Liability: [Abridged Opera LLC is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property that occurs during your participation in any of our programs or events, except where required by law.

  • Event Cancellation or Changes: While we make every effort to ensure that our events proceed as scheduled, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and provide options for rescheduling or refunds.

  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms if such failure is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions.

8. Privacy Policy

9. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services, including registration for workshops or events, if you violate any part of these Terms and Conditions. This includes engaging in inappropriate behavior, failing to comply with our payment policies, or other actions that disrupt the safe and respectful environment we aim to provide.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Delaware.
