Refund Policy

At Abridged Opera LLC, we are committed to providing an exceptional experience for all our participants, whether you're attending a class, performance, or event. Please review our refund policy below, which applies to all services, workshops, events, and performances offered by our company.

1. General Refund Policy

• Non-Refundable Services: All payments for workshops, classes, performances, and other services are non-refundable once processed. This includes ticket purchases, class registrations, and any special events or programs, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• Exceptions for Cancellations by Us: In the rare event that Abridged Opera LLC cancels or reschedules a performance, class, or event, you will be offered a full refund or credit toward a future session or performance, depending on your preference.

2. Workshops and Classes

• No Refunds for Missed Classes: If you miss a scheduled class or workshop, no refunds, credits, or make-up sessions will be provided. We recommend notifying us in advance if you are unable to attend, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee rescheduling.

• Cancellation by Participant: If you wish to cancel your registration for a workshop or class, you must do so at least  48 hours before the first session to receive a refund or credit. Cancellations made after this time will not be eligible for a refund.

• Class Package Refunds: If you purchase a multi-week class or package (e.g., 4-week, 6-week sessions), no refunds will be issued once the package has started, unless the class is canceled by Abridged Opera LLC.

3. Performances & Events

• Ticket Purchases: Tickets for performances, recitals, and other events are non-refundable. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the event is canceled by us. In case of cancellation, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend a rescheduled performance.

• Rescheduled Events: If a performance or event is rescheduled, your ticket will remain valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend, you may request a refund or credit for future events.

4. Refunds for Services Cancelled by Us

• Cancellations: If a workshop, class, or event is canceled by Abridged Opera LLC for any reason (e.g., insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, etc.), you will be offered a full refund or a credit toward another service or future event.

• Event Postponement: If an event is postponed, you will be notified in advance, and your registration will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend, you may request a refund or apply your payment toward a future event or program.

5. Refund Process

• Requesting a Refund: To request a refund for a canceled event or qualifying situation, please email us at consumerservice@abridgedoperallc.org with your order or registration details and the reason for your request. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the canceled event or workshop.

• Processing Time: Refunds may take up to 10 business days to be processed, depending on your original payment method.

6. Credits for Future Services

• Credits: In some cases, we may offer store credits instead of a refund. Credits can be applied toward future workshops, events, or performances with Abridged Opera. Credits will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

• Non-Transferable: Credits are non-transferable to other individuals or accounts and cannot be redeemed for cash.

7. Exceptions

• Medical Emergencies: In cases of medical emergencies or extenuating circumstances (such as hospitalization or family bereavement), we will review each situation on a case-by-case basis and may offer a refund or credit as appropriate. Documentation may be required.

• Special Programs: For certain special programs or events, a separate refund policy may apply. Please refer to the specific event or program details for further information.
